Rustlers Ridge is a very nice house! It has a very comfortable interior. We enjoyed the amenities including the pool table and the view form the porch. The location while conveniently close to Banner Elk was too close to the highway. The noise from the highway detracted from the otherwise serene setting.
Super clean and close to everything!
We had a great weekend and loved the location!!!! Banner Elk is a neat town!!!
My husband did it all on line. No problems!!!
Banner Elk Birthday Weekend
We spent my daughter’s 17th birthday weekend at Rustler’s Ridge and could not have had a better experience. Lovely cabin with every amenity, even in the kitchen. My daughter and her three friends availed themselves of the hot tub, and had THE BEST time laughing all night around the fire pit. I was so relaxed and managed to sleep in until nearly 10 am one morning (unheard of for this chronic early riser.) everything was so comfortable and made us feel like we belonged there. Will definitely return!
The cabin was very clean and cozy with plenty of room for everyone! The privacy was great and the owners clearly thought about how the space would be used as they included plenty of linens, cleaning products, and even spices for cooking. Overall we had a great stay!
Beautiful home! Well furnished with wonderful amenities. Great location.
Pro: This home has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. So well furnished! We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and were extremely comfortable. We had some very cold weather and snow so the hot tub was great to relax in on those cold evenings. We enjoyed playing pool in the downstairs area. That bottom floor worked great for the parents and toddlers having their own area with couches, games, tv, bathroom, 3 beds, hot tub right outside, gas fireplace and a table with chairs. We were close to ski slopes. Enjoyed snow boarding and tubing on Sugar Mt, and free sledding on Beech. Great dinner at Stonewalls in Banner Elk. There is a grocery store in Banner Elk. Not far from the home is Boone (Walmart for shopping too ) and Blowing Rock which is a very neat town. We went to the escape room in Boone on Main Street. That was a blast. They even allowed the toddlers, although we did pay for the entire room. So worth doing! There is a lot more to see and do in Linville and Grandfather Mt. So we will be back in the summer. We had a good snow on our last day there and were pleasantly surprised when returning home in the evening to find that the fairly steep hill to the house had been cleared of snow and ice since our vehicle does not have 4 wheel drive and had thought we would have to park at the base of the hill. Because our kids had already left in their 4 wheel drive vehicle. So leaving early in the morning was not a problem. Definitely coming back next winter.
Con: couldn’t reach anyone after hours on given number as directed. Never got a call back after leaving a message. Also, the day before arriving we were told by main office we could check in at 3:00 instead of 5:00 and that didn’t happen. We had driven from FL and arrived at 3:00 but had to wait until 5:00 with 2 tired toddlers in very cold weather. Seemed to be mis-communication in the property management office.
