LATINA BRICK (STREET RELATORES 22)
I am renting out my charming apartment LATINA BRICK in Madrid. This is a fully renovated and newly furnished airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a brick townhouse. The master bedroom has it's own bath while the second bedroom on the other side of the living room has a bath adjacent. It's fully furnished with a high end kitchen and bathrooms, and a washer/drying in the unit (yay!). This is the hottest area of Madrid to live at the moment, the subway is just down the block. This fully furnished apartment features exposed brick and stone walls and high ceilings. The decor is sleek and modern while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming feeling.
UNBEATABLE LOCATION !!!! BEST TAPAS AREA!!! FREE WIFI!! LIFT!!! UNDERGROUND AT THE DOOR!!!!!
LATINA PALACE (STREET MAGDALENA 2, MADRID) is an old palace built in 1749 by Don Antonio Pando and Bringas, first Count of Villapadierna and direct ancestor of a spanish Rita Hayworth’s lover. Fully refurnished in 2005 is placed on the corner of Magdalena street with Tirso de Molina square, in the district of LA LATINA with underground AT THE DOOR.
LATINA SOL (STREET ESTUDIOS 5, MADRID)is a bright and stylish apartment on a fully refurnished building from 1900 with underground AT THE DOOR.
It is the oldest part of city and one of the most popular districts. It takes part of the medieval and Renaissance Madrid and surely is one of the most beautiful areas of the city. With multitude of squares, churches, old palaces and convents is full of life and history. We will find several street coffees, bars and restaurants as well as numerous shops and their famous Rastro, the major outdoor market of the city.
Surrounded by all type of transports: underground, buses and Atocha train station.
Conveniently located in the heart of the historic city center is perfect for tourist breaks, within a walking distance to Paseo del Arte (Prado Museum, Museum Reina Sofía, Museum Thyssen Bornemitza, Caixa-Forum), Madrid of the Austrias (Royal Palace, Royal Theater), the Rastro of Madrid, PLAZA MAYOR, La Latina (La cava baja y La cava alta) and also close to Atocha train station. Also is possible to walk to the best places to enjoy the kitchen and night of Madrid: Plaza Santa Ana, La Latina and Chueca.
Just Cross The Main Door, Walk Any Side Down The Street and MADRID IS ALL THERE!!!!!!!
GREATEST TAPAS AREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MADRID is the place to be!!!! I am a world traveler who prefers to stay at vacation rental properties because there is nothing more than having a place you can call home. What better way to soak up the local culture than to feel a part of the neighborhood? This is what I extend to my guests when they stay at my place. For those who want to be more than just a tourist passing by, you will find living in LATINA PALACE an experience you will never forget.
Gekauft in 2008
It is a unique property from 1749 fully refurnished on an unbeatable location.
There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ‘big three’ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
Muy confortable y con todos los detalles y accesorios.
Nos ofrecieron todas las facilidades de llegada y salida.
Outstanding location. Truly spacious and very near to several metro stations and bus stops. At least fifteen restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Lovely decor. The owner is an outstanding host. All five of us had a wonderful time. Would certainly go back. Do not look any further, this is the place. Gracias Carmen!
Our family of 4 stayed at Latina Brick as we visited another daughter who is living in Madrid. This apt is close to everything. 2 squares are at either end of the block. Even though the metro stop at Tirso de Molina was still closed (as previously noted) it was no problem to access transportation. (Should be open by now) We were able to use the buses to get to the rail station and get a rental car to travel in the countryside to visit our daughters school.
Kristina met us upon arrival and oriented us completely. Having the washer dryer and a dishwasher was key for us! Soap was included which was great!
One small issue with the en suite shower was immediately resolved. Both Carmen and Sol were very responsive to emails and texts.
We had a wonderful time! Can't say enough about this apt. Beautifully furnished. Even had an elevator for our luggage that we only used twice. (On arrival and leaving.)
Next time might go for Latina Palace as it is a bit bigger and likely more seating in the living area for 4 adults but we spent most of our time out of the apt honestly!
Bright, clean apartment with a nice layout and an excellent location! Carmen was fabulous to work with and she gave us a great overview of the area. I liked the bakery up the street, the easy walk to everything we wanted to see, and the little touches like planters with plants on the balconies. Street noise is an issue so bring ear plugs or a white sound machine if you are sensitive to noise.
This property is exactly the way it looks in the pictures. I wouldn't say it is just clean, rather, I would say it is pristine. Madrid was our first time to experience Spain and I have to say of all the places we went Madrid was our very favorite. I feel sure our beautiful, comfortable accommodations contributed to the overall positive experience we had there. Almost immediately we were wishing we had planned more time in that wonderful city. The apartment is located just steps away from many wonderful restaurants. It's a lively and vibrant area of the city. Literally every place we wanted to visit was within walking distance and, at the same time, when we needed to get a taxi to take us to the train station that too was just a short walk to the corner. You could not hope for a more helpful and delightful hostess. We kept in touch with her mostly through texts, she answered our questions right away. She was also the source of much useful information. We would most definitely love to return to Madrid some day and stay here again.
This is the best apartment we have stayed in. It was so well- equipped and felt like being at home. All the sights are within walking distance and the metro was easy to negotiate. There was everything we needed.... Crockery, shower gel, toilet paper etc...... All the basics and more so we didn't need to buy anything except food and drinks! So many thoughtful touches! The showers were AMAZING too! We found some great tapas bars near the apartment in the side streets with beautiful tiled, traditional interiors and exteriors and loved eating and drinking in the market too! So sad to leave this morning and desperate to return to the apartment again in the near future! It's a gem..... A little haven beneath the stars in a vibrant city that really never sleeps! Thank you for your hospitality and a great 5 nights vacation! I forgot to mention the apartment is SO spacious, luxurious and has VERY comfortable beds!!! The air conditioning was a blessing in the soaring August heat!
