Great Glacier Cabin
Beautiful spacious cabin for a wonderful family summer retreat. We would love to return in the future.
We arrived to the home around 4pm and were totally impressed with the home. It is nestled in the forest and totally private on acreage. It has everything you need and then some! We stayed three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It was closer to get to the east side of Glacier Park than it would have been taking Sun Road across every day! It was totally a log home, and very spacious! We are guaranteed to come back to this home when we return to the area again. Wonderful experience for everyone!
Four and three/fourths stars. Love it. Would come back again.
It was an awesome stay. Connie was very helpful. The only issues I had were (1) the grill cooking surface was very dirty and we had to clean it prior to cooking our food. (2) There were flying bugs in a drawer containing cookware. We cleaned them out the first day and I told Connie about them on our next to the last day. She did apologize. They appeared again that evening and again we cleaned them out. I thought at first the prior renters may have left the sliding door screen open but when they reappeared I knew that was not correct because we kept the screens closed. The bugs kind of reminded me of Georgia Termite.
Would stay again.
Great place to stay in Glacier area
We were four adults and stayed there recently for three nights. The location is convenient to the park, and very private. The management was very nice. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. The cell signal, even with booster, was spotty, but really, we weren't there for cell, or wifi. Plus, just down the long driveway, there is a way to get that stuff done then get back to having fun in beautiful mountains without the dang phone. :)
Beautiful Secluded Home
The home was a great fit for our family vacation to Glacier National Park. Loved the large Kitchen, family room & deck. We had an unually hot week and had to leave all upstairs bedroom doors open to get ventilation as there is only one balcony for air. That’s the only reason I rated four stars but I must say with all doors open and the fans we were able to b very comfy. Would definitely recommend this home and location. Is great between East & West gates!
Private and clean
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Our group was visiting Glacier National Park, and this was well located between the different entrances. To access the cabin, you enter the RV park and then continue into the woods. Very private, but we enjoyed walking down to the RV park and using the swing set. The cabin itself is well stocked, even for our family that does a lot of cooking. We especially appreciated the huge laundry room after all the hiking we did. The upstairs configuration is a little different - all traffic has to pass through the bunk room where our kids slept. Then there are two doors off the bunk room leading to the 2 other bedrooms. The bathroom can only be reached through those two other bedrooms (so it's a big circle). This worked fine for us, because we were all family, but I can see how that would be awkward for some other groups. Fans were provided, but it did get a bit warm up there. We had 3 kids in the bunk room and set up a pack and play in the large closet of our room - worked just fine.
Pros: clean, updated, nice bathrooms, large well-stocked kitchen, lovely deck, privacy, affordable.
Cons: even though they have a cell phone booster (for Verizon), we did not get any cell service during our stay. None. We didn't get any reception until we were nearly in West Glacier or Browning. Also, while the cabin says they have internet, we were never able to access it. When we inquired of the nice older lady who runs the RV park and checked us in, she was flustered and no help with the technology. We were ok, since we were there to hike etc, but don't plan on being able to use phones or internet while at the cabin.
Overall, a great experience - we would recommend this to anyone.
