The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. The kitchen was appropriately equiped and there was plenty of dishes and cutlery. Apart from very occasional field work in the wineyards in the (very) early morning, the surroundings were wonderfully quiet, and the view over the provençale landscape was great.
Be careful to bring your own lines and towels, since there are none in the house. Apparently this used to be normal in the region, but considering the rental price of the property and considering that the place targets families, I couldn't help but find this extremely annoying. In particular, since I wasn't specifically warned about this. If you come by plane you simply cannot lug kilos of lines and towels around.
In addition there was a misunderstanding about the departure time. The website indicated 11am but the cleaning woman (which is adorable) already arrived at 10am, since the next clients were scheduled to arrive at 2pm (while I had to wait until 4pm to move into the property).
