Spacious Townhouse with garden.
The house is located in the northern town of Zaandam, only a 12 minute train-ride from Amsterdam Central Station.

Any two bedrooms of your choice are included in the price for four guests. Two further bedrooms are available. The use of one extra bedroom costs €50 per night or €75 for both.

Classic Dutch townhouse with sunny south/west facing garden. The house was originally build in 1903. We lovingly restored the house in 2010. In 2021 we redesigned the layout of the ground floor and new kitchen.

Walk to the beautiful central square with many restaurants, terraces and bars in 8-10 minutes. A large supermarket is only 3 minutes by foot.

On the ground floor you will find the entrance hall with toilet and wash basin, a living room with comfortable sofa's, dining table and tv. Fully equipped open plan kitchen with espresso machine and American style double door fridge/freezer.

On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms each of 16m2 or 170 sq ft. One bedroom with a king sized bed, sofa and tv, the second bedroom with a queen sized bed and balcony. Also a family bathroom with extra-deep bath & rain-shower.

The second floor has 2 bedrooms of 20m2 or 215 sq ft. One with a queen sized bed, sofa & tv. The second with a king sized bed and small sitting area. Both have access to a shared ensuite bathroom with rain-shower. On this floor also the washer & dryer.

A spacious property of 165m2 or almost 1800 sq ft. in the historical town of Zaandam, only a 12 minute train ride from Amsterdam Central Station. The train station is a 5-7 minute walk from the house.

Parking costs €7 per day on a square which is 200 meters from the house.
It is also possible to park in front of the house but this costs €2,80 per hour between 09:00 and 23:00 hrs. and you also need to renew your ticket every two hours because this is a residential street and long parking is discouraged.
Parking in central Amsterdam is not easy to find and costs around €8 per hour! Taking a train is much less stressful. Since the house is only 13km away from central Amsterdam, taking an Uber may also be a convenient option. A 4-passenger car to Dam Square costs 30 euros, a 6-passenger minibus 55 euro.

In the garden shed you will find garden furniture and also everything that you'll need to make a great bbq. Large gas grill provided.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKING FROM GROUPS WITH AVERAGE AGE UNDER 35.

Maximum 4 people are allowed to stay at the house. Unfortunately local law stipulates this.

Besides all the museums, the Anne Frank House and the many other historical and touristic sites on offer in and around Amsterdam, this location is also perfect for nearby daytrips to the world famous "Zaanse Schans", Volendam, Keukenhof and much more.

A nature park "Het Twiske" with lakes, beaches and (sail)boat or kayak rental possibilities is only a 10 minute drive away. The coastal beaches of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal at a short 30 minute drive.
