Top Notch Rental in München
Relaxing, quiet, comfortable, as well as close to food and bus route. Perfect choice for first time visit to Munich. Having a dedicated washer & dryer was a godsend. Tanja was a lovely host.
Quaint and cozy apartment just off the beaten path
We had a very nice stay at this property in Munich. The location is about 15 mins from the Marienplatz with the nearest bus stop about 1 block away. It's about a 10-15 min ride to the town center and larger train stations. After about a day we felt pretty comfortable navigating the bus line to the train station and onward throughout Munich. There's a Lidl literally one block away with all the basic grocery items needed, which we found very convenient. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and did have several cafe's and restaurants, which we also found convenient on the evenings we didn't have a special restaurant lined up.
The host was very communicative and organized. Check-in was a snap and everything in the apartment functioned properly. We had four adults for this stay and had plenty of hot water for showers and with a little creativity on scheduling had no issues with the single bath. The washer/dryer were a huge bonus for us. In other locales we had run across combo units, but this property has a separate washer/dryer, which was a nice treat.
One slight detractor during our stay... we had a couple minor issues with the bath area needing a once over upon arrival where it appeared the cleaning company might have missed a few things. Not a huge deal as we took care of it quickly and got on with enjoying our stay.
Previous reviews have highlighted the layout of the two bedrooms and the need to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. We had no issues as we're family, but it is something to consider depending on your circumstances.
Overall, we had a very nice stay and were very comfortable in this apartment.

It looked just like the pictures. We loved both the apartment and the location. Would go back for any future trips to Munich.
Great neighborhood, comfortable apartment
This neighborhood has 2 bakeries very close and a number of good restaurants within walking distance (make reservations since they are popular!). We had a car but there are close bus stops (nearest ubahn is 15 minute walk - the bus is a better bet). The apartment is very comfortable - you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom, so more appropriate for a family. Note that while the kitchen is well stocked, there is no microwave. There is a dishwasher, coffee machine, and an electric kettle for tea. We appreciated the washer-dryer and the nice shower. We had a lovely stay and will stay here again the next time we're in Munich!
Modern apartment in a traditional building
We really enjoyed our stay here. The living area is very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped with a separate dining area. The apartment is modern but has retained some traditional features like beautiful parquet wooden flooring and decorative ceiling coving. Tommy provided a smooth check in and showed how the appliances worked.
The surrounding area is quiet but with several restaurants and a bakery less than 2 mins walk and a large well stocked Edeka supermarket 10 mins walk ( Lidl 5 mins ) The center of München is a pleasant 20 min walk partly along the Westermuhlbach stream.
After a day sight seeing it was great to return to this warm comfortable apartment and we would definitely stay here again.
The perfect home base for your Munich vacation
As others have said, this apartment is exactly as described and provided the perfect home base for our visit to Munich. The apartment is lovely - thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. Tanja was a gracious host, meeting us at the apartment and providing all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. While the two bedrooms are connected, there are curtains that provide both privacy for the first bedroom and a clear path through to the second bedroom . I was initially concerned that we'd have to take a taxi or bus to city center, but it couldn't have been easier. The bus stop is a short walk away and drops you off directly at the Marienplatz. If you prefer a taxi, the cost is only 10 euros. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Munich. You won't be disappointed.
