Dar Zitouna strahlt diskreten Glamour aus - es ist ein idyllischer Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Die Villa wurde wunderschön eingerichtet und unsere originelle Villa (in sehr ähnlichem Stil und Geschmack) erschien in einem BBC Interieur-Programm.

Das Dar Zitouna verfügt über 5 äußerst komfortable Schlafzimmer (mit Doppel- oder Kingsize-Betten), die europäischen Komfort mit marokkanischem Chic verbinden. Jedes verfügt über einen Ankleidebereich, ein eigenes Bad, eine Terrasse und eine Klimaanlage / Heizung.

Unser gemütliches und einladendes Wohnzimmer bietet Platz für 10 Personen auf prächtigen Sofas und Sesseln mit knisterndem Kaminfeuer für gelegentliche kühle Nächte. Dies führt zu einem Esszimmer (auch mit Kamin).

Draußen befindet sich unser großer und luxuriöser privater Pool in einem weitläufigen subtropischen Garten. Es verfügt über eine himmlisch schattige Terrasse, die zum Entspannen und Essen einlädt, sowie zwei weitere atemberaubende überdachte Terrassen, die zum Entspannen und Erholen einladen.

Die Gäste werden von unserer talentierten Köchin Zahria betreut, die Frühstück (im Preis inbegriffen) sowie Mittag- und Abendessen zubereitet (ihre Käseaufläufe sind ausgezeichnet). Es gibt auch ein Vollzeitmädchen (eine zweite ist für 8 oder mehr Gäste vorgesehen) ). Unser wunderbarer Hausverwalter, Mustapha, spricht fließend Englisch und kann alle Transfers, Mietwagen, Golfreisen und Ausflüge in die Berge und nach Marrakesch usw. arrangieren. Das Dar Zitouna ist Teil des exklusiven Bab Adrar-Gebäudes, nur 25 Minuten vom Zentrum von Marrakesch entfernt. Es verfügt über einen 24-Stunden-Sicherheitsdienst, ein gemeinsames Hammam und einen Sandtennisplatz. Der Pool kann beheizt werden (Aufpreis Frühling / Sommer). Diese Villa ist nicht für Selbstversorger.

Great Family Gathering & Retreat
Our family met here for our annual holiday. We age from 10 years to 89..and from all over the globe so we needed somewhere we could all enjoy..and this ws definately it! The Villa is beautiful, nicely spread out and many rooms to choose to relax in..from inside to outside..We did spend most of our time outside by the Pool..but also had wonderful evenings on the upstairs terrace and about the house. The staff were so hospitable; Nadia ensured we had what we needed, and was about if we had questions..without feeling they were on top of us. We had a choice of excursions..and decided to alternate days out with the villa..as hard to leave the place..We got a guided tour of the Market, drove out to Beduin House as well as Richard Bransons Retreat for lunch (a greta scenic drive of the area..in the Atlas Mountains)..some also went Dune Buggy driving..and thoroughly enjoyed. A truly wonderful family break in a gorgeous place ..made it very hard to leave....

Return to Paradise
Rarely do we return to a location twice, with so many other wonderful places in the world to visit. However Dar Zitouna is in a different league, it was every bit as special as our first visit and this is in no small part due to the fantastic staff, Mohamed, Nadia, Zahira, Hussain and the latest addition to the team Aisha. The villa is truly exceptional and combined with the amazing staff this makes for a truly memorable holiday, Although this was March we enjoyed many sunny days on the roof terrace, ideal location for breakfast with amazing views to the mountains, followed by some time doing nothing by the pool but reading and swimming. On the slightly cooler days Nadia would light the fire to warm and create a wonderful atmosphere in the house. As our previous visit we enjoyed Zahira's cooking for all of our stay and washed down with some rather nice red wine this was a great way to spend an evening. Mohammed would always bring some mint tea after the evening meal and this was the perfect way to wind down before retiring to our room. The villa has the perfect combination of understated luxury, combined with an amazing location, with a staff that are second to none. It really is one of our great holiday locations and it will probably be visited again before too long.

Oasis on the Ourika Road
We had a fantastic stay at Dar Zitouna for four days in late May 2015. After our stay at one of the smaller houses in the complex last year, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. Dar Zitouna is clearly the best house in the complex - large, beautifully designed and with the best views over the Atlas mountains. It was so nice to return to this lovely bit of Morocco. Zahira's cooking was once again excellent and satisfied a range of dietary requirements (from vegetarians to exacting 2 year olds). Mohammed was also extremely helpful with all of our needs and organised a half day trip to Imlil for us. The pool was, as expected, a key part of our stay and the clever design with shallow steps proved to be a real blessing for the little ones still learning how to swim. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

Takes relaxation to a new level
We have just returned from a week at Dar Zitouna, the villa is simply stunning, high quality furnishings, combined with great style and comfort. The exceptional staff on site create a fantastic holiday. The villa is only 30-40 mins from Marrakech, which we enjoyed for an afternoon with a visit to the medina but its so very easy to relax at the villa, laze by the pool, read a book all the time enjoying the excellent discreet service led by Mohamed the house manager assisted by, Zahira, Nadia and Hussain. The views to the Atlas mountains are breathtaking and we never tired of the view, it formed a fantastic backdrop to our meals which we always took outdoors on the terrace facing the pool and mountains. As we wanted a relaxing holiday we took full advantage of the wonderful meals provided by Zahira the cook, the taste and quality was absolutely first class we particularly enjoyed the soufflés, quiches and tagines. The icing on the cake is undoubtedly the staff, they ensure that no problems arise and their ability to perfectly anticipate our requirements was uncanny, whether it was drinks by the pool or on the terrace, to wonderful tasty breakfasts. Nadia was always on hand to ensure the villa was kept immaculately clean. The villa is wonderfully spacious and can easily accommodate 4 or 5 couples for us it was like having your own private boutique hotel, the rooms are wonderfully furnished. For anybody looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday, with the option of easy assess to all that Marrakech offers, whilst enjoying luxurious accommodation and being looked after by attentive staff this would take some beating. Stunning Location
I have just returned from a three night stay at Dar Zitouna and felt I had to write to say how exceptionally beautiful the house and its location is. The house is set at the foot of the Atlas Mountains with beautifully manicured and established gardens flowing out to green plains with a breath-taking backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. The house itself has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, providing an authentic Moroccan feel, combined with luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. It is all beautifully maintained. The staff that work at the house were exceptionally helpful and organised all the transport that we required both to and from the airport and into Marrakech. There was an ample choice on the menu, ranging from Moroccan cuisine to more familiar English dishes. Everything that we were served was delicious and freshly cooked. I can find no fault in anything that we experienced during our stay and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, safe in the knowledge that when you have done this, you can return to a peaceful and luxurious retreat.

We have always loved Marrakech but really fell in love with it a couple of years ago when we visited with our children.  We knew that it was a very special place with such a variety of things to do and we all adored the bright and colourful culture so much that we decided to start our search for the perfect family holiday home.
We love everything Marrakech has to offer; the wonderful sounds and sights, the colours but most of all the energy.  It is an incredibly vibrant city that feels like you stepped into another world.  And yet you can also have the most relaxing, peaceful holiday ever.  Even on a short 3 day trip you come back feeling utterly refreshed but like you have been on a real adventure, this is something that we share with our entire family.  If our children had their own way they would probably choose to live over there!

When we first walked over the threshold of Dar Zitouna we knew it was the place for us.  It was so peaceful and beautifully decorated with wonderfully proportioned rooms.  It was safe and secure and yet super private.  The moment when we first walked onto the roof terrace and looked out onto the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, that was it.  I don’t think anyone could ever tire of that incredible view.  The smell of fruit trees, lavender and rosemary and the fragrant Moroccan rose never fails to make us happy.
The Ourika Road to Marrakech is an easy, straight road into the bustling Medina in just 20 minutes and the airport just 25 minutes away, so we really are perfectly located.

As one of eight private villas on the site, we have use of a tennis court and hammam, as well as 24hr security. We are very blessed with our staff: we have a full-time gardener, two maids, a cook, and an English-speaking manager who can organise transfers, car hire, excursions etc. We offer the villa with the staff and breakfast included, but if you wish the staff can provide delicious meals at very reasonable prices. That means you get to enjoy the best of both worlds: to eat out whenever you choose, but also to flop at the villa when you feel like it and just enjoy the terraces, the gardens, and the pool.
